Refund and Cancellation Policy
This policy applies to purchases made directly from Lewis Lighthouse Publishing LLC. Your signed publishing agreement, statement of work, or payment schedule may contain more specific terms; when it does, those terms control for that engagement.
Consultations and assessments
Complimentary consultations have no refund value. A paid assessment may be cancelled for a full refund before review work begins. Once manuscript review or assessment work begins, completed work is nonrefundable; any unearned balance will be returned.
Publishing packages and payment plans
If you cancel before package work begins, payments are refundable less nonrecoverable processing and approved third-party costs. After work begins, completed milestones, time already worked, delivered or approved custom work, and approved expenses are nonrefundable. Any remaining unearned balance will be returned. Cancelling a payment plan stops only future unearned work; it does not erase amounts due for completed work or committed costs.
Third-party and production costs
ISBNs, printing, proofs, distribution, retailer setup, advertising, shipping, and other third-party costs are subject to the provider's terms and are nonrefundable once ordered unless that provider authorizes a refund.
Defects, billing errors, and duplicate charges
Report a materially defective deliverable, duplicate charge, incorrect amount, or unauthorized charge within 14 days. We will investigate and, as appropriate, repair or replace the deliverable or return a verified erroneous charge to the original payment method. This does not limit rights provided by applicable law or your payment provider.
How to request a review
Email info@lewislighthousepublishing.com with your name, invoice or order number, payment date, amount, and reason for the request. Do not send card or banking details by email.
Nothing in this policy excludes a refund or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
